I have accomplished things I never thought possible during my time here, and I have faced challenges inside and outside the classroom that have shaped me into a better person and advocate. Gabriela Lopez-Ruperto ‘23 My time at South Texas College of Law Houston has challenged and rewarded me every day. Our small campus community is filled with diverse classmates who propel each other towards greatness. The Student Bar Association provided a venue for camaraderie and mentorship, and the advocacy program prepares students for practice. Many students want to get in and get out of law school. But spending time in an internship and law review helped me build a network and a community that made me feel connected and set me up for success.
